ABOUT ME..
Hi, I am Kirsty, my happy place is surrounded by cats, just don't call me a crazy cat lady yet! I have always loved cats, as a baby I was always pointing out the cats in the street from my pram!

I started my business, The Chilterns Cat Sitter, in July 2019 and have regular clients in the Chilterns area.
​
I volunteer for RSPCA Blackberry Farm in Aylesbury and I have my own fur baby at home, Wispa, who is an adorable loving Ragdoll.
​
I fully understand the trust issues of allowing a stranger into your home to look after the furry member of your family. I am an experienced cat sitter with a diploma in "Feline Behaviour and Psychology" I am also fully DBS checked with proof if required.

"Kirsty is simply the best catsitter in the world! My cats could not be in better hands when I am away. I have a very shy kitten that runs from every new person and usually disappears in the garden when anyone comes to visit. Not so with Kirsty. Within minutes of Kirsty coming to meet the cats for the first time, the kitten was happy to trust her and playing with her. To this day, a year later, she has not had that reaction to anyone else. Some people have that instant connection with cats - Kirsty does. And she genuinely cares. One week when I was away the whole week, Kirsty asked whether I would be OK if she brought her study books with her so she could spend a little longer with the cats, in case they were lonely. To me, that's above and beyond and I am so grateful whenever I have to travel, that I can leave my beloved cats in Kirsty's good care. I can really recommend working with Kirsty - she's the best!"

"I was getting married in December and needed a cat sitter for my 2 cats while we were away. I had a bad experience with putting them in a cattery previously and therefore that route wasn’t an option this time round. It was important to find someone who I felt I could not only trust with my cats but also in my home. Kirsty come round to meet us beforehand and we got on straight away, one of the first things I noticed was that like me she was completely cat mad so this put me at ease and made me feel comfortable leaving them with her. One of our cats goes out and the other is a house cat so we decided we needed to have 2 visits a day just to make sure everything was ticking over and they got enough attention. Kirsty sent me pictures during every visit and spent lots of time with them - this made me feel less guilty about leaving them as I could see they were in the best hands! My cats love Kirsty particularly our younger cat Lumi who gave me the cold shoulder on my return. I couldn’t recommend Kirsty enough and there’s nobody else I would ever ask because she goes beyond what she needs to. She is a classic example of doing what you love and your cat and conscious will reap the rewards!"
